Ky-Mani Marley, one of the richest and most famous Reggae singers was born on February 26, 1976, in Falmouth Jamaica. Shottas was one of the most acclaimed films where he was in the film along with another artist Wyclef. Ky-Mani signed to Shang Records and recorded his 1996 debut album With Father Like Son. This was followed by several singles like Dear Dad, which topped British Reggae Charts. Who The Cap was a perfect fit (remix) and Sensimelia. These all have contributed to the growing reputation of Ky-Mani as a new reggae musician. Ky-Mani teamed up with Praswell from Fugees to record Electric Avenue from Eddy Grant. The song has been a big hit since 1997. Marley made his first appearance at Midem a world-class concert which was held in Miami.
